A Hospital Staff-Appreciation Week
Five days of round-the-clock nourishment for 300 staff across three shifts — wholesome, allergen-mapped, and always fresh at 3am.

The brief
A staff-appreciation week feeding day, swing, and night shifts at a working hospital: meals had to be nutritious, fully labeled, and as good at 3am as at noon, delivered without disrupting clinical floors.
Our approach
Mediterranean menus built for energy, not heaviness — grilled proteins, grains, bright vegetables — held in batches and refreshed every ninety minutes, with allergen cards on every dish and a nut-free line throughout.
On the day
Night-shift turnout doubled the estimate on day three; the support kitchen re-fired a full service in forty minutes so the 3am crew ate the same fresh spread as the day shift.
The outcome
Staff satisfaction scores for the week hit a record, and the center booked quarterly appreciation programs.
“Our night team is used to being an afterthought. At 3am they had the same fresh, careful food as everyone else. That meant the world.”
