What we collect

When you request a proposal we collect the details you provide — name, email, phone, event particulars, and any notes you add. We never require an account to receive a quote. With your consent, standard analytics cookies also collect device and usage information (pages viewed, approximate location, referring site).

How we use it

Your information is used to prepare your proposal, communicate with you about your event, and — unless you opt out — to understand site traffic and measure our advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information for money.

Cookies & analytics

Essential cookies keep the site working and are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies — Google Analytics 4 for traffic insights, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement where it is enabled — run BY DEFAULT from your first visit, which California law permits on an opt-out basis. A banner tells you this and lets you decline at any point.

You can opt out three ways, and any one of them stops analytics and advertising cookies immediately: choose Decline on the banner, use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the site footer (available on every page, at any time), or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honor GPC automatically and treat it as a decline before anything loads.

Third parties we work with

We rely on a small set of vetted providers to run the site and respond to you: payment processing (Stripe), hosting and database (our cloud host and Supabase), transactional email (Resend), and — unless you opt out — analytics (Google) and advertising measurement (Meta). Each processes data solely to provide its service; none receives your information to sell it.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics and advertising cookies may qualify as "sharing" under California law — you can opt out by declining cookies in our banner or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. To exercise any right, email eat@carthagekitchen.com; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Data retention

We keep proposal and event information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing eat@carthagekitchen.com.
