The format
Delivered, set, and labeled — then we get out of your way
Drop-off is the leanest way to feed a room well. You get the same chef-cooked food as our staffed service, packaged for self-service and priced without the labor line.
On-time, hot delivery
Windows you pick — 5:30am crew calls to midday office lunches. Hot food arrives hot, not held.
Set and labeled
We arrange the trays, place serving utensils, and label every dish with contents and allergens.
Compostable standard
Compostable service is the default, not an upcharge. Plastic appears only where food safety demands it.
Drop-off catering runs about $15–$103 per guest for food. Multiplied out, that is what a spread costs at the counts people usually ask about.
| Guests | Estimated food cost | Per guest |
|---|---|---|
| 25 | $375 – $2,575 | $15 – $103 |
| 50 | $750 – $5,150 | $15 – $103 |
| 100 | $1,500 – $10,300 | $15 – $103 |
| 150 | $2,250 – $15,450 | $15 – $103 |
Food only. Staffing, rentals, delivery, setup and breakdown are separate lines, and a mandatory service charge and California sales tax apply on top — so the invoice for a staffed event runs meaningfully above the food figure. Smaller counts sit at the top of the band: setup and delivery cost the same at 25 guests as at 100. Every menu halal · zabiha-sourced.
How drop-off works
When to drop off — and what actually shows up
Drop-off is the right call when the room can serve itself: office floors over a lunch hour, a production crew between setups, a classroom or a board meeting where nobody wants a server hovering. You skip the staffing line entirely, so the same chef-cooked food lands at a lower per-guest price than buffet or plated — the trade you make is that the spread is self-serve, not attended. It scales cleanly from a 12-person team lunch to staggered drops across several floors or sites in one delivery window.
On the logistics: we cook to your window, transport hot food in insulated carriers so it arrives hot rather than held, and on arrival we arrange the trays, set out serving utensils, and label every dish with its contents and allergens. Then we leave — there is no on-site staff and no scheduled pickup, because service runs on compostable disposables you bin yourself once the room is done. What the guest experiences is a tidy, clearly-marked spread they can graze at their own pace; what you handle is the five minutes of clearing at the end. For anything that needs portioning per head instead of family-style, boxed lunches are the cleaner format.
