Catering Persian, honestly

Persian cooking is rice raised to an art form, and Los Angeles — home to the largest Iranian community outside Iran — knows the difference. Our Persian menu honors that standard: saffron steamed rice with a proper golden tahdig, koobideh hand-minced and charcoal-grilled, joojeh marinated in saffron and citrus, barg cut from halal · zabiha filet, and the stews that anchor a Persian table — ghormeh sabzi deep with herbs, fesenjan rich with walnut and pomegranate. Shirazi salad and mast-o-khiar keep the table bright between rounds of the grill.

This is celebration food — Nowruz gatherings, weddings, engagement parties — and it is engineered for the generous, family-style service Persian hospitality expects. The kebab line carves beautifully at live stations, the stews hold all evening, and gluten-free paths run wide through the menu since rice carries it. Every dish is labeled, and the spread prices per platter or per guest alongside any of our other kitchens.

Questions

Persian catering, answered honestly

What does Persian catering cost in Los Angeles?
Kebab platters and stews run $35–$150, with sides like mast-o-khiar from $6. A full Persian spread — rice with tahdig, two kebabs, one stew — typically prices between $18 and $30 per guest depending on cuts.
Is your Persian food zabiha halal — including the barg?
Yes — barg is cut from zabiha filet, koobideh is hand-minced from zabiha beef and lamb, and the stews build on the same sourcing. No alcohol touches any preparation, and every dish is labeled for the table.
Can you serve Persian food for Nowruz and weddings at scale?
It is what this menu is engineered for — the kebab line carves at live stations, saffron rice with proper golden tahdig holds for family-style service, and ghormeh sabzi and fesenjan hold all evening. We staff the service or deliver the spread composed.
Which Persian dishes should anchor our menu?
Koobideh and joojeh anchor nearly every Persian event we cater; barg elevates the head table; and one stew — ghormeh sabzi for herb depth or fesenjan for walnut-pomegranate richness — completes the table. Rice does the rest.
