The brief
Four charter campuses needed a daily program that met USDA portioning, ran a strict nut-free facility, sorted delivery by classroom, and — the hard part — produced food kids would actually finish.
Our approach
A weekly rotating menu tested with student tasting panels, cooked on a dedicated nut-free line, portioned to compliance, and packed into labeled, classroom-sorted boxes for a 30-minute multi-site delivery window.
On the day
When a supplier missed a produce drop, our standing backup menu kicked in by 6am and all four campuses served on time — no campus ever knew.
The outcome
Plate-waste audits dropped by half versus the prior vendor, and the network renewed for a second year across all campuses.
