How it works

Jobsite & Construction Crew Catering, in practice

Built for a site, not an office

A jobsite is not a conference room. The crew breaks at a set time, the drop point is a trailer, a break tent or a table by the site office, and nobody has time to go looking for the driver. We plan each site once, at setup: the gate or entrance to use, the foreman or superintendent who receives the order, a phone number that answers on site, where we stage, and the delivery window that fits your break. After that, every delivery runs to the same plan. The same program feeds warehouse shifts, distribution centers and industrial crews, where the break room takes the place of the trailer.

Lunch and call-time breakfast, in the format the site can handle

Most sites run on boxed meals: one sealed, labeled box per worker, nothing to set up and easy to eat on a tailgate. Where there is a table and a break area, a drop-off spread arrives ready to serve in disposable containers, and a larger crew on a longer break can have a staffed buffet. Breakfast is delivered for the start of the shift, so an early crew eats before work rather than after it. The formats mix within one program: a breakfast drop-off on Monday and boxed lunches the rest of the week is a normal schedule.

A rotating menu, every meal labeled

The menu rotates across our 18 cuisine menus, and you see the calendar a few weeks ahead, so a crew that eats with us every day is not looking at Monday's lunch again on Thursday. Every meal is halal · zabiha-sourced, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options held as standing lines, and every box carries its own label with its contents and the major allergens it contains. A meal can be made without a named allergen; our kitchen is not allergen-free, so cross-contact cannot be ruled out.

Headcount and billing that match how sites work

Crew size changes as trades come and go, so the count is set per delivery. You confirm each delivery's count 10 days ahead, and that delivery is billed on that count or the number served, whichever is higher. We prepare a small buffer above the count so an extra hand is not left without lunch, and every meal served is billed at the same rate. Billing is one invoice per period, itemized by delivery with per-day counts, so the project accountant can code it to the job, and net-30 is available to approved accounts. The program ends on 30 days' written notice, so a job that wraps does not leave you tied to a contract.

What construction catering costs

Jobsite programs start from $21 a guest, all-in, per service day, and the price per guest falls as the count grows. Tell us the site, the crew size, the days and the format, and the proposal itemizes it line by line. California sales tax is added, and there is no service charge.

Questions

Before you ask

What is the minimum crew size for jobsite catering?
Each delivery starts at 15 boxed meals, or 15 guests for a drop-off spread. A smaller crew can combine with other trades on the same site into one order, or run the program on fewer days a week.
How much notice do you need to start?
The first delivery needs 8 days’ notice, because a proposal cannot be accepted inside 8 days of it. Before it, we agree the site plan, the delivery window, the formats and who receives the invoice. After that the program runs on its schedule, and you confirm each delivery's crew count 10 days ahead.
Can you deliver to an active construction site?
Yes. We deliver to the point you name, away from the active work area: the gate, the site office or trailer, or a break tent. Tell us the entrance to use, who receives the order, a phone number that answers on site, and any sign-in, escort or PPE rule for reaching the drop point, and we plan every delivery around it. The site provides the access and the staging spot.
What happens in heat or rain?
We plan for it. Hot food travels hot in insulated carriers and cold food travels on ice, and boxed meals are the usual choice for a site with no cover or table. Name a covered staging spot, such as the trailer, a break tent or the site office, and we set there.
Does the menu rotate, or is it the same lunch every day?
It rotates across our 18 cuisine menus, and we share the calendar a few weeks ahead. Every meal is halal · zabiha-sourced, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on every delivery day, each one labeled.
Do you bill the general contractor or each subcontractor?
We bill the account that accepts the proposal, usually the general contractor or the company running the site, on one invoice per period itemized by delivery. We do not collect from individual subcontractors or workers. A subcontractor that wants its own crew on its own invoice can set up its own program for the same site.
How much does construction catering cost?
Jobsite programs start from $21 a guest, all-in, per service day, and the price per guest falls as the count grows. California sales tax is added. Send the site address, the crew size and the days, and the proposal itemizes it line by line.
Can we change the count when the crew changes?
Yes. Confirm each delivery's count 10 days ahead, up or down. After that, more meals are added when we can source and staff them, at the same per-meal rate, and a lower count no longer reduces the bill. A permanent change to the crew size resets the standing count.
Do you cater warehouse and industrial shifts too?
Yes. The same program feeds warehouse, distribution and industrial crews, delivered to the break room for the shifts you name, boxed or drop-off. Tell us the shift times and the count per shift, and each shift's delivery is its own line on the invoice.
Can you cater a one-off site event, like a safety lunch or a topping-out?
Yes. A one-off lunch for the whole site can be booked as its own event, or added to a running program and billed on the same invoice. Larger site events can be a staffed buffet where there is space to set one.
Do you deliver to jobsites in Orange County?
Yes. We run jobsite programs across Los Angeles and Orange County, plus Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga and Thousand Oaks. Delivery for each site address is confirmed on your quote.
